Holy Thursday

Psalm text (Ps 116:12-13,15-16,17-18)

Our blessing-cup is a communion with the blood of Christ.

What shall I return to the Lord
for all his bounty to me?
I will lift up the cup of salvation
and call on the name of the Lord.

Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his faithful ones.
O Lord, I am your servant;
I am your servant, the child of your serving girl.
You have loosed my bonds.

I will offer to you a thanksgiving sacrifice
and call on the name of the Lord.
I will pay my vows to the Lord
in the presence of all his people.

Gospel Verse (Jn 13:34)

I give you a new commandment: love one another as I have loved you.

Psalm text (Ps 89:20-21,24+26.27-28)

For ever I will sing the goodness of the Lord.

I have found my servant David;
with my holy oil I have anointed him;
my hand shall always remain with him;
my arm also shall strengthen him.

My faithfulness and steadfast love shall be with him;
and in my name his name shall be exalted.
He shall cry to me, “You are my Father,
my God, and the Rock of my salvation!”

I will make him the firstborn,
the highest of the kings of the earth.
Forever I will keep my steadfast love for him,
and my covenant with him will stand firm.

Psalm text (Ps 116:12-13, 15-16, 17-18)

Our blessing cup is a communion with the Blood of Christ.

How shall I make a return to the Lord
for all the good He has done for me?
The cup of salvation I will take up,
and i will call upon the name of the Lord.

Precious in the eyes of the Lord
is the death of His faithful ones.
I am your servant, the son of your handmaid;
you have loosed my bonds.

To You will I offer sacrifice of thanksgiving
and I will call upon the name of the Lord.
My vows to the Lord I will pay
in the presence of all His people.

I give you a new commandment, says the Lord; Love one another as I have loved you.

Psalm text (Ps 89:21-22, 25+27)

Forever I will sing the goodness of the Lord.

I have found David, my servant;
with my holy oil I have anointed him,
that My hand may be always with him,
and that My arm may make him strong.

My faithfulness and My kindness shall be with him,
and through My name shall his horn be exalted.
He shall cry to Me, "You are my Father,
my God, the Rock, my Savior."
